1M Challenge

As I was sitting on my desk, a thought just popped up in my head. Now, don't laugh about this. I asked myself the question, "Is it possible for an ordinary person like me to raise one million dollars?" Well, in the first place, even if I want to, I would not be able to do it in my whole lifetime. With my limited resources alone, it's just not possible to entertain this kind of idea. Now, If I want to invest something in stocks, or in any investment ventures for that matter, I don't have much to invest as well. So that is also taken out from the equation. So, i said to myself at first, this is simply a crazy idea. Then I asked myself another question, is this simply a prerogative and an exclusive right for the millionaires and those who are rich? Does an ordinary person like me (or anyone else like me)taken out from the equation simply because we are not rich. So this whole scenario prodded me to to think of something and experiment. I know that some of you may find this a "crazy idea." Some may say, "it's impossible." But I have said, "to dream the impossible is our goal here." For this, I want to challenge myself and see if I am capable of raising up one million dollars. At the outset, I want you to understand that this is not just after money. It's about the ability of an ordinary person to go beyond the heights, to dream the so called impossible, and to attain the goals that no man had even dreamt of.

I would like also to make this clear that whatever funds we are able to generate in this process, 50% will go to charity and 50% will be used as seed money to start a foundation for the cure of diabetes.
